Venture Crew

Canoe Trip Down the Rio Grande at Big Bend

May 26 - June 1 2002

Crew 57 embarked on a very special summer camping adventure.
They spent the week hiking & canoeing in beautiful Big Bend National Park.

They went camping in Terlingua Abajo and the Chisos Basin,
canoeing through Santa Elena Canyon and Fern Canyon,
they hiked the Lost Mine and Window Trails,
enjoyed incredible mountain and desert scenery,
and finished up with a side trip to the Confederate Air Force Museum in Midland, Texas.

All in all a thoroughly memorable "adventure."
